Champions – We need your help!
Do you know someone who is between the ages of 45-65 years of age, of average colorectal cancer risk (no family history or prior history of disease), and not up to date with screening?
We’d love to find out why they haven't been screened recently, as well as their current understanding of screening practices and options. Send them this survey link, and we’ll choose 8-10 participants for this focus group! If selected, participants will be paid for their time.
COMING SOON
- Instagram Live on sidedness to discuss why understanding tumor sidedness at diagnosis matters when discussing treatment options. Stay tuned for the date and time!
- Election Day is November 8 – Flex Your Vote with us!

Your Guide in the Fight Resource Meetups
Fight CRC’s Resource Meetups are free online gatherings for people affected by colorectal cancer seeking access to resources and peer-to-peer support.
Whether you have just been diagnosed, are receiving treatment, or are supporting someone who is facing CRC, these twice-per-month meetups are a safe and reliable place to talk to people who have similar experiences to yours, while learning about resources available to you from Fight CRC and partners alike. A meetup does not take the place of a doctor or healthcare team, but is a great place to start when searching for more resources!
Join us for one or both meetups this month!
- Thursday, October 13 at noon EST
- Tuesday, October 25 at 4:30pm EST
In Case You Missed It
Webinar
- Be sure to watch our surgical options webinar where four colorectal surgeons joined us to explore different types of surgery such as robotic, laparoscopic, and minimally-invasive for both primary and metastatic colon and rectal cancers. They talked about how to prepare for surgery, as well as what to expect. One surgeon even talked us through a colon and rectal surgery with accompanying footage! If you missed this webinar, would like to watch it again, or if you would like to forward the link to this webinar to someone you know who may need to undergo surgery for colorectal cancer, you can find it here! Knowledge is power, and the more you know, the better you are able to self-advocate.
